2023 March 16- 20 Program

The 2023 theme was “Creating Communities to Inspire Nursing Knowledge Development,” inspired by the work of four leading nurse theorists from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) – Dorothy Johnson (Behavioral Systems), Sr. Callista Roy (Adaptation), Betty Neuman (Systems Model), and Afaf Meleis (Transitions).

Everyone who registers was able to download the digital program “Guidebook,” which provided Zoom links to all of the sessions, abstracts and slide decks for each session, and information about all of the presenters. The program consisted of 3 “plenary” panels of 1.5 hours each, 30-minute “knowledge sessions” (KS) throughout the week, and daily discussions to give time for open discussion of key ideas that surface during the day.

Here is the overview of the program –
